About Us
Bummy Edizioni is a publishing house dedicated to children.
Our books have multiple objectives for every girl and boy:
- to encourage the freedom to ask questions and, why not, to give themselves answers on any topic that comes to their mind (often children ask questions that even adults cannot answer);
- to look at the world from different perspectives;
- to stimulate imagination through the exploration of images and words;
- to read and/or browse the book for pure enjoyment.
We believe that our books should reflect the emotions and needs of every child and that they can be read in total freedom, without limits or rules.
Children love to linger on the same pages, enjoy skipping others, adore browsing the book by looking only at the images, love to learn the text by heart and above all, appreciate when they are not asked too many questions about what they have read.
We also believe that adults (parents, teachers...) should guide them and provide them with the right tools to acquire autonomy and freedom in interpreting texts.
And even more importantly, that they know how to stimulate wonder and fun through the art of reading, telling, and inventing stories.
In addition to publishing books, Bummy Edizioni offers training courses and school projects dedicated to the following topics:
